Food Day is Changing!

Thank you everyone for your support and donations! Now that we have the freezer and the compressor installed and up and running we are going to be changing food times at the Preston Community Food Pantry Inc. We will be assigning food days. Green Pickup Day will be the first Wednesday following the first Sunday of the month, Red Pickup Day will be the second Thursday following the first Sunday, and Blue Pickup Day will be the third Friday following the first Sunday of the month. If you have any questions or need to schedule a day for food pickup please call or email us! You can see our events page for a complete list of days and times for each schedule food day. Volunteers please arrive 15 minutes early to get set up to distribute the food. See you in July!

We wanted to again send out a huge thank you to everyone who has helped to make our new building possible! It is so wonderful having a spot to call our own!

Food Day

Sorry for the delay in posting about our new schedule. Laws have changed regarding the compressor and condensing unit we needed for our freezer and we have to buy them new instead of getting a used one as we had planned so it will cost $15000 instead of $5000 to get out freezer up and running. While we are working on raising the funds and getting it installed, food day will remain the second Thursday of each month.

New Schedule Coming for 2013!

We really appreciate everyone who has donated their time, money and materials to make our new building possible!

With the opening of the new building, which is located at 580 W Oneida on the North side of the Archery Building, our schedule for being open and distributing food is going to be changing in January, 2013. We are still working out the kinks but will announce our new hours by the beginning of the year.

Share A Meal

Share a Meal will be this Wednesday in honor of Thanksgiving instead of the normal last Wednesday of the month. We hope to see you there!

Grand Opening

Our building is complete! Come join us Thursday, November 8th at 8:30 am for our Grand Opening!
